As someone who’s in undergrad and torn between which medical field I’d liked to approach - primarily dietetics, medicine, or nursing - I really appreciate the thoughtful questions being asked. Thank you!

Good interview questions. I'm studying to be in the medical field, but on the administrative side of things.
@DrAdnan4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! That side of things is very important for healthcare overall (and is also where a lot of the big money and power are, if you’re into that). I’ve been wanting to interview some admins- look out for a vid in the future ;). Good luck on your journey!

Love your channel, one question. what is a Med/Peds?
@DrAdnan4 жыл бұрын
Internal medicine and pediatrics combined, so you get an opportunity to learn both adults and children on a deeper level and can do subspecialties like cardiology or gastroenterology (whereas you can’t do a lot of those subspecialties if you go into family medicine)

Thanks! Premiere because I have an old pc. It takes me really long, which is why I don’t put out a lot of videos and they’re not at the level I’d like.

Yayyy finally a video that relates to me! Now I know why I didn't continue and become a dietician 😂 too much responsibility! It's bad enough I can't find a job as a nutrition.. I don't encourage people to do this degree, jobs are extremely scarce and it's such a waste of time and $$
@DrAdnan4 жыл бұрын
Oh cool, I didn’t know you were in the nutrition field. That’s interesting, I wonder if that’s location specific. Seems like y’all are vital in many settings, so I’m a bit surprised the jobs are scarce. Maybe you need to move to an area like California haha.
@cleopetra874 жыл бұрын
@@DrAdnan 😂 😂 😂 I wouldn't mind checking out glamorous California! Yeah you're so right it really depends on location... "Shout out to nutritionists, don't go looking in Brisbane for work!" It's really good that you're expanding your interviews with different medical professionals ☺ ☺ ☺

@@cleopetra87 Yeah, it's probably a lot sunnier over here right now than in Australia. Thank you! I'm trying to give people, especially college students and high schoolers, info on other areas of healthcare they may not have been exposed to much. It also helps even med students and physicians have a better idea of the rest of the healthcare team we work with.
@cleopetra874 жыл бұрын
@@DrAdnanhaha I'm in the sunshine state 😁😁 always sunny! it's an awesome idea you got there.. Healthcare workers are all connected in one way or the other. But I find there's bad communication these days between sectors unfortunately. Looking forward to your next vid ✌️ keep it up!

Ah, so maybe there isn’t reason to move yet lol. That’s true, we need to work on working together better.
