Thank you for making me feel so cozy and much less alone. My husband is 21 years older than I am, and he is dying of advanced Alzheimer's disease. I am his caregiver, 24/7. I wasn't up to decorating for Christmas this year; he is in his final decline, mostly just sleeps, and does not even understand that it's Christmas. Last year, he still had enough awareness, so I did a huge blowout holiday for him. But now, it just feels useless and I was too tired and sad to do it again. When you said how wonderful it felt to have someone to share things with at last, it brought such warm memories to my heart of when I first met my sweetheart. I remember how happy I was not to be alone anymore. It's so lovely that you get to feel that now too! You've given me the privilege of sharing a bit of your Yule with you, you've cheered me up a lot, and I am very grateful.

On the 27th of September this year we experienced a flash flood caused by the ravages of Hurricane Helene. My son, who lives next door, and I were evacuated from our home by a water rescue team that rushed in from Raleigh, NC. On my channel I have a video of what a flash flood looks like. Being roped to a rescuer, moving through 4 feet of raging water to a rescue raft…..well you learn what is truly important. The safety of friends, family and furr babies!!! Love that you got a live tree - where you and Ben will gather in front of to continue to make memories. When I was little, my parents bought a live tree and we planted it right outside our front living room where. The first rat couple of years we had a game - who can jump over the tree? By the time we were grown and moved out, it was so tall that tree was competing with the top of the house

Your ice cold dip was so inspiring to me today! I had the same idea today but was going to do it under the Fullmoon. My eldest son & I went up to the lake the full moon was so bright & the fog was creeping in! It was so beautiful! We bathed in the moonlight & set some intentions. The closest I got to a cold dip was my feet! 😂 It was only 0°C not nearly as cold as your weather. I do enjoy a cold dip but I didn’t do it! I am so thankful my husband is getting better. He has been in the hospital since the end of September, had surgery for a stomach cancer, but the surgeon got it all and he is now and in rehab. I had to take an extension cord to rehab so that he could charge his phone. So happy he is getting better.

Watching you has been such a place of peace for me. Especially now with a new baby, I get to enjoy these videos during the dark hours of the wee mornings before my little one wakes.
