also the front differential bolt gets a lot of pressure on it.. mine snapped on me, but its been good ever since i upgraded to solid diff mounts
@Pawinning6 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your input 👍😎! Agreed, the mounts for the differential are troublesome with power mods

I think you got the front subframe backwards. Steering rack is towards the front of the vehicle. The area you state is the front is actually towards the firewall/rear...

+Aaron Barth you are absolutely right! Thank you for pointing that out! Didn't even realize I switched the orientation 😂

Great work man. I’m doing all the same mods and this is very informative

Just some alternative point of view: stiffening up subframe and motor bushings will take out flex but how's the energy from the road, torque etc deflected? Since then all vibrations will travel trough the chassis and components. To me it seems logical to go with stiff new bushings but with some flex capabilities such as 80 Sha poly bushes. Not hard to break your bones but stiffer than oem and wont deteriorate.
@Pawinning7 жыл бұрын
+Crook Ed actually that's a great point! Thank you for pointing that out, and that's something I forgot to mention. I agree that that cabin noise and vibration would increase with solid bushings and stiffer reinforcements. Poly bushings would be a happy medium between oem and full on racecar 😂
@becomematrix7 жыл бұрын
Pawinning happy you're not taking it as critique :-) like you described in your video, body flex is not what you want with big HP but with everything vibrating will lead to metal fatigue. Just in a different way. Or some parts will give way / shear off / break / malfunction. Same as with aero engineering where parts rip off due to prolonged stresses.
@Pawinning7 жыл бұрын
+Crook Ed no worries at all, I enjoy feedback and always down to discuss/learn more! And yes that's true, always seems like as we beef up one part, then next mechanism attached can start to fail/wear out quicker 😂

First and foremost thank you for all the content highly appreciated. I have a question for you regarding a 97 e36 convertible. I just replaced mostly all front suspension parts on this car, I drive the car and at low speeds on uneven pavement the car wobbles from side to side do you have any idea of what can cause this or have you had this issue on any e36? Thank you
@Pawinning6 жыл бұрын
Hey man sorry for the delay! Thank you for your feedback 🙏. If your car wobbles on flat pavement, then I’d suspect either bad bearings, bad seat of the wheel on the hub, maybe the tires have a flat spot, subframe and control arm bushings might be worn out as well

YO! fellow e36er here, love your content and your turbo build and I'm super stoked on the 318! Any recommendations on a clutch? I've got a 328, bolt ons, plan on going turbo but not for another year and a half, do quite a bit of drifting/clutch kicks, looking to build to about where you're at when the time comes. Keep up the sick content!!
@Pawinning7 жыл бұрын
+Grant Routh hey man! Thanks for your support! I'd look into southbend clutches I heard they're great! More expensive but you get what you pay for, especially if you're gonna be drifting and need a tough clutch!

Pawinning you're not the first to say that, looks like I know what I'm going with!

What mod/s are or would you use for the steering ? Changing out the Aluminum shaft and use parts from e34 or the high dollar way with Sikky e36 specifically, or would you go Electric steering column and resister to dial in effort? Any ibid not mention or retro and bavaristeining?

What about if im keeping my e36 stock no power mods just suspension upgrade. What should i still deffinatly stiffin up. I have a 96 328ic
@Pawinning6 жыл бұрын
With just suspension mods I’d recommend front and rear strut tower plates, the rear sway bar reinforcement kit, and the rear trailing arm reinforcement plates as well.

+Vanosss Gaming don't fret! This info was just to make people aware of potential frame issues, and provide recommendations to add peace of mind to your mods. I did a lot of these reinforcements after i boosted the car, but I should've done it the other way around haha

Very nice work, I'm amazed at the effort and filters you went through to transform from a white pale asian into a latin tanned pornstar. Keep up the good work. To anybody else reading, let me tell you by the time you add all these easy to DIY metal plate / brackets you are looking at something silly like 250-350$ and that's before they arrive to your garage where you need to start welding them in.
