This having only 30k views shows that KZbin really doesn't favor quality and education over flashiness and big lifts. 12 minutes of gold here. Louie is going to be the Aristotle of weightlifting. People are going to be studying him for centuries.
@thedhive65123 жыл бұрын
or maybe its because multi-ply lifting is not that popular and people do not have the time or money to buy all the crap you need to do conjugate properly. People are getting plenty strong and getting paid without doing half this stuff. Makes sense to work smarter and not harder.

@@thedhive6512 but they train raw and other lifters such as Dave and Matt W. outlined and sub without all the equipment
@ZaneGeeting2 жыл бұрын
@@thedhive6512 You clearly don't understand conjugate. The only things you need outside of any other training system are a squat box and some bands which are super cheap. You can accumulate more bars, chains, etc over time, but they aren't 100% necessary for the program. The training sessions are short, 45min to an hour. The system also works really well for raw lifters. I've done 740/425/705@220 raw and 705/400/660@198 raw, 2 of my training partners have gone 832/485/735@275 and 821/465/722@308 in his 3rd meet. Conjugate is training smarter, it uses physics and mathematics to determine your best training volume and intensity, then addresses weak areas to make you a more complete lifter.

@@wilkdaniel this is a super bizarre comment. Is Duffin not destroyed? (I'm personal friends with him, btw) if you lift at a high level for a prolonged period of time, you will be beat up, and you can take that to the bank. Powerlifting is a sport, injuries are a part of sport and there's no way around that.

Westside system really works. Have training nearly all my life, I'm 55 years old. When this West side barbell system book came about 25 years ago, i have training using this system. I make body too, so i don't do everything that way, cause i want good looking body too. But this is allways part of power training, squat, pench, deadlift, helps building bigger and stronger body. And i make weightlifting moves too, witch are not offcourse good, same time with powerlifting and body moves. But i give big respect West side system, it really works. Today I'm natural, but with steroids, when i was younget, really get much power. Greetings from Finland.
