Traktor for long gigs and USB (recordbox) for short sets. I've always wanted to change to serato but i'm comfy with Traktor and it's never let me down.

Shiv Varma I feel the same way about serato. Serato DJ has never let me down since using it since I start using it in early 2019. I can run Serato for hours with no problems what so ever

That’s fair enough buddy! Stick with what you are comfortable and know best! Nothing worse than creating extra stress at a gig! If it ain’t broke don’t change it!

Been using rekordbox for years now and never knew this? Why is everybody sleeping on this! Definitely will be using this mode in the future, great video...very useful.

great video, you can also set up a keyboard shortcut to load tracks without dragging with the trackpad I found a game changer !

Do I need to drag the tracks onto the cdj's on the laptop or can i select tracks and access my library on the cdj's themselves with this setup? Cheers

You can also use the menu system directly on the cdjs 😊

i use this mode, but not with an ethernet, just plug a usb cable into one of the cdjs and it works too, i use a lot related tracks feature with this

I do….more so this way in export mode than if I was using the laptop. 😂

@@djkarlthomas nope…. I totally don’t get it why use the controller less and laptop more? Just use the laptop in that case? You use export to “export music” self explanatory hence why people never knew about this “feature”
