@@patriceolivier4800 I get braids when it's closer time to relax in that case I'm not manipulating my hair to much. And if I must get a protective style after a relaxer I make sure to wait atleast 4 week/6 weeks later.

I think this maybe my issue. My hair use to be so long and healthy and now I constantly breaking. It's so short now. I wear braids alot. When it's time to relax I literally take my braids out and relax the next day... over and over again.

@@TemayaCurryAlston I wait at least 8 weeks before getting a protective style/braids. I wear the style for 2.5 to 3 months, take it down and relax after 1 to 2 weeks. My hair grows so much better now, retaining lots of length! I have to be extra careful at takedown since relaxed hair and the line of demarcation is no joke! Just keep trying, it may take some time but it's worth it!

My braids last at least 4 weeks with no issues and I always wash atleast twice. I don't have any major issues with frizz.
