"Cross stitch" is just one of many stitches in embroidery , so you were not mistaken in saying that it's a piece of embroidery because generally speaking that's what it is. My mother taught embroidery here in the states for years and there are hundreds if different stitches. Cross stitch is the most basic ,usually for beginners.

I get migraines and learned that ibuprofen and caffeine together works great, especially if you do it early on with the migraine. 💞

Have you heard of a piercing against migrain? It is on a special point of the ear and for many it helps incredible. From two-three migrains a week to two in a month... maybe worth to inform yourself and try...

I used to get 3-day migraines monthly. They were awful. Then one day, on day two of a migraine, my family was dining out and I opted for the first time ever to drink an espresso. I drank it fast. Within 15 minutes I felt this “poof” on my temple and then a feeling of liquid draining down that side of my face. It literally broke my migraine. That was wild, probably the capillaries opening up.

I have a lot of severe migraine attacks and none of that medication works for me. It is very personal how the migraine should be treated.

In the spirit of helpfulness, those necklaces are made of 'beads'. Pearls are the mostly whitish things that are made by oysters. But you probably already knew that. So sorry about the migraine. Feel well!

@@arwenmoon9815I can’t speak for Danish, but in German it’s the same. We call all kinds of beads Perlen which translates to pearls and we also call the real pearls Perlen…no need to be rude about it. Especially cause English isn’t her first language. How beautiful that she speaks English cause it means you can enjoy her content. If she didn’t speak it you probably wouldn’t be watching her videos, right? I think it’s really interesting how some languages have the same word for different things. Such a great opportunity to learn instead of criticising people for it, especially when all this beautiful content is provided by Elise for free. It’s not difficult to be kind❤

Other cultures can have different ways of seeing and labeling, and translating may not always be direct or sound "logical" to us English speakers. Even if Elise DID just want to cover what you assume is a mistake (but perhaps isn't), I doubt it would be because of pride, but maybe because anyone might get tired of constant corrections on little things from many people! As a migraine sufferer, I recommend speaking with your doctor to see if they recommend any kind of medication. I take a prescription for my migraines and it’s been a life saver. I even get them less now. I only take it when I feel a migraine coming on, but somehow it makes them happen less. I hope you get better ❤

And also, finding a good optician, going on checkups annually, adding anti blue light coating on my glasses and starting to wear them for the whole time has arguably helped me with my migraines more than anything else. Hope it helps 🤞

Elise, I think you have a great grasp of the English language. To clarify what your viewer said, the cushions, etc., you are drawn to are cross stitch and if you look closely you will see that tiny X stitches makeup the designs and patterns. Watching on day 3 of a migraine attack and feeling so seen! I describe the day after as a migraine hangover. The white and gold pitcher and the black and gold tea pot ❤ as a mismatch set! My local thrifts just don’t have plates and things in such abundance! I’m low key jealous 😉

If it’s helpful, I keep an eye pillow in the freezer. It just cools it rather than freezing it, and helps me when I get migraines due to barometric pressure changes. It’s a trick I learned from my optometrist. I know the next day feeling after a migraine. Not fun! I loved your autumn plant selection. I hope a week of slowing down and feeling cozy helped you recharge. Loved that teal shirt with the brown skirt!
