Do the young people like this music in Spain ? I am nostalgic because my grandparents played this for me in the 70s and I loved the player piano and to read the lyrics on the rolls. I think that gave me more emotional wiring which I wouldn’t trade for anything. I appreciate this era of music for so many reasons. So much to listen to besides the lyrics. The horns, the strings, the dynamics. Music is my wine. 🍷 I toast you all here.

@@shweetiepetina1563 I'm 20 and from Spain. Not many of us like this kind of music. I'm lucky enough to have two good friends who also like Big Band era music. In fact, one of them introduced me into Artie Shaw. When I tell people I enjoy listening to music from the 1930s-40s, they give me their weirdest looks, hahaha.

@@BenHopkins1000 Thank you. I liked your reply. I agree, and Christians have always known this. We are all born into a state of sin, and it is the nature of existing in a resource-constrained world. My sense, from what I have seen, is that many people try to be good and avoid doing evil and harm to others. My impression of the young lady in the picture was just that. She is having a lovely evening and very happy, and I imagined that she had a heart and soul as beautiful as her smile. I would never make that mistake in the real world now, though over the years I met three ladies whom I thought might have been interested in me and like that. The first moved away and I never saw or heard from her again. The second was more interested in my friend at a time in my early professional life when 'fraternization' was a career-ending offense. The third was my friend for four years until she showed me that there are no unicorns. So, perhaps you're right, but I was really just thinking of the girl in the picture, and how I wished for her to be. My best to you.
