Tim Rogers yay, I’m so happy they are helping, once you understand the settings the real fun begins lol I struggled and feared the setting at first ha ha, I spent the next 6 months creating these tutorials, figuring it all out, created audio visual way to explain each setting. Now I can fine tune the machine to my liking. You see one of the first things I learned was how versatile this machine was. One setting is not the right one for everyone. If you understand the settings then you can customize the machine the way you like 😊

Hello in your experience mam..how deep can penetrate in single frequency like for example a gold bar let say 6 kg is it possible for 4ft depth? Thank you

So sorry, I haven’t tested depth, with the new update that included the new 4khz, this was created for large deep items. Unfortunately I haven’t tested it’s maximum depth so sorry.

Lower frequencies work best on silver. I’ll kick it into 4 or 5 khz when I want a deep scan for coins. Multi uses the lower frequencies but I like to toggle them ☺️👍

Hello has Equinox 600 in multi frequency 5,10,15,20,40KHz Or in multi frequency only 5,10,15khz?

The 800 and 600 uses the same frequencies in multi.. they both use the same range. When running in multi its using a combination of frequencies and may not be exactly 5,10,15,20 and 40.. the secret recipe of frequencies will not be given out.. but we do know that you can choose signal frequencies on the 600. 5,10 and 15. Both machines use the same range of frequencies in multi but as a single frequency machine the 600 gives you less options. Hope this clears it up 😊

Every location could have different settings, it’s best you learn what these settings do, so you can adjust them when you need to

Is it safe to say that if you’re looking for deep silvers in say a park, 5 kHz is your best bet?

Raymond Cota I’m actually anxious to try this, multi also uses 5 kHz, but if you’re just looking for deep silver, using this frequency is a great option. I haven’t tested it out yet..but 5khz is the deepest frequency and great on high conductors like silver. Is it the best bet? I need to test it out first before I have a true opinion. In theory I can see how it can be.. 👍

Raymond Cota but lower frequencies aren’t as sensitive to smaller items.. I really need to try it and see if it can pick out a small deep silver.

there are hundreds of other places to view metal detecting digging videos, but few places that carefully explain the Equinox functions. It is not a terrible video series and until you can do better, your comments are really dumb. I notice your youtube video channel has a huge number of views of under 200 and only 40 subscribers. Enough said.
