Not really. The wire is just to connect to the doorbell chime. The doorbell had a battery that powers it.

Find your bell, when you did original install of ring camera you would have likely wired to it. If home had existing doorbell. Depending on where you moving your doorbell, sometimes easier to relocate the whole setup, or run cable through crawlspace, because of how long of a move this is, to doing internal would have seen him having to drill thru allot of frame. Standard is 18 inches apart so 8 feet would likely be 5 pass thru holes to drill and fishhook thru. Not great. I would grab bell, find convenient or closest wall outlet on wall opposite of where I want the button installed, pigtail the bell in there and then just run cable thru the one wall section and hole out thru stucco. Added benefit, if you wire in the bell here, you could always move it further out with a wire hiding runner like he used here, but along ceiling edge. I can't believe he just slapped that on his exterior wall like that all crooked. Like he gave up at the end. Id be surprised if his wife hasn't had him fix that since I know I would

oof, this is a rough install dude... why not go inside the house and run the wires up the studs, through the attic and back down on the other side of the side gate sure it's 10x longer to do it this way but it turns out clean and you can say I DID THAT!
