Miriam Lancewood and her husband Peter lived for 7 years in the wilderness of New Zealand. After writing the international bestseller "Woman in the Wilderness", the couple went to Europe to walk 2000 km through the forested mountains. A remarkable journey came to an end when Peter faced death in Australia.
TVNZ came to film the couple in 2017; the episode became wildly populair with almost 3 million views ( • Video ).
Now, in 2020 TVNZ SUNDAY returned to document the present.

Both amazing and inspirational people. I live in New Zealand and understand the clarity of being in the wilderness. I remember building a hut in a forest on the side of a mountain as a teenager then waking up in the morning and finding myself in the clouds. I walked down the mountain and through the cloud layer, I just never wanted to leave that place.

That reminds me of my tree-planting days as a youth in the mountains of BC, Canada. Every day, we'd complain about the bugs, the rain, the work. I did too, but I never felt more alive. After a week or two in tents, we'd rent a room in town and do laundry. The sheets felt like silk.

After doing much research I found a couple of things that helped improve kidney function for a family member. One is taking organic nettle *seed* tincture and the other is taking Calcium Bentonite clay. I think it was researchers in Germany who discovered that giving Bentonite clay to some people helped reverse their kidney dysfunction. As a result instead this person went from kidney failure to improving their kidney function to the point it is now within the normal range, but at the low end of normal. We keep close tabs on their lab tests and so far so good. I highly recommend organic stinging nettle seed tincture. And, I have even read cases where people have added nettle leaves to their smoothies, consumed this daily and improved their kidney function. Since you love the wilderness maybe you can find an area where a lot of nettles grow. It's interesting to me that being outdoors, rest, drinking lots of water, sunshine... and I'm sure a positive attitude have all contributed to Peter staying healthy and gaining ground to improve his health. Cures entirely depend on what is causing the kidney failure. One shoe cannot fit all.

@@ninokraine Nettle is a plant. If it were me I would take it anyways while waiting to find out the cause. The doctor said the cause of their kidney problem was old age, yet the result was doubling the kidney function. It is a shoe that fits very comfortably. 👍😊 👞👞

Wow that little voice is so good for us to listen too. If it's the right voice He will not lead us astray. Usually 20 years later after hearing that voice it comes ringing back to me reminding me of the advice given and the blessing having taken the advice. God is good to His creation. Without God we are dead, but when we know God and have faith in God we are truly alive no matter where we are or what we choose to be or do. That is true you can only carry someone so far before you fall under the load. But faith in God can carry you a lot farther than you can carry yourself or another. Faith that is great faith makes a huge difference. He is right about the fact we give up so easily. We don't take time before the Lord seeking Him and His strength and rest. There is a rest in the Lord... God wants His people to enter into His rest. Cease to do it your way and learn to do it God's way. Praise God for this healing rest!!!
