Ritchie Torres is the most important voice in Congress today. As our country leans dangerously into the rabbit hole of anti-American, anti-Israel, antisemitic sentiment, Congressman Torres unapologetically stands up for the Jewish State, for morality and decency. As a Progressive, his voice needs to be amplified as much as possible to turn the Left Wing ship around.

the jewish state is not anywhere near the top of the list of the south bronx's woes. im glad he is speaking forcefully against antisemitism on the left, but i don't think my one voice in congress should make this the focus of his work. we do struggle here, a lot

@@ernesto8738 Torres has done so much for the Bronx. I appreciate your sentiment and support for fighting antisemitism, but don't overlook his overall record. RIGHT NOW, Israel faces an existential crisis and Jews across the world face levels of antisemitic threat that have not been seen since the Holocaust. That is why that work is currently so prominent. Meanwhile, he has recently secured higher education funding for his constituents, fed the hungry in public housing, and secured almost a million dollars of federal funding for criminal justice reform.

As Congolese and African Christian I always pray for Israel and I was chocked by those terrorist atrocities. That's what has been happening to us in D.R. Congo. Let The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob make us triumph! Don't worry about South African and Kenyan Presidents points of view. Israel will become member of African Union in the future! That's my prayer!
