I remember Joe Galloway from 1st Cavalry Reunion and spoke with Joe about Vietnam. We talked for sometime and I was most impressed with his Views on the Vietnam Police Action ( War ) . We talked until tears flowed about the Reasons I went and how I became a Fire Fighter ( 7 years Volunteering & 23 years paid)! Joe was happy that I found a career where I could Help people in there time of Dire need. We spoke about the Politicians , the Unappreciative American Citizens and how the Truths were always buttered up for the American News Stories. Well Mr. Joe Galloway you shined, ask the Tough Questions and we Loved your Book , We were Young Once and We were Soldiers! The Book you signed For Trish and I , was lost in our wreck, we still have your Joe Galloway on paper ! Thank You Sir for showing the Hell of War from your “ Boots on the Ground Position. May God Bless your Families, BLOOD & MILITARY AND ALL WHO KNEW YOUR COMPANY OVER A Brew! I thought it was Tea! Lol

Death will come to us all, in one way or another. And life will never be forgotten. Thank you to everyone who fought for life, freedom, and love. LIFE is shorter than we truly know. War will never end. But life will.

Will we ever know? From a drafted (with US: used for conscripted enlisted personnel in front of service numbers) disabled Republic of Vietnam combat veteran '68. My buddy (US) Jesse Carmona, Jr. had been in the Army for only 8 months. Look him up. Our next door neighbor, (US) Alex Zsigo, was killed in June of 1967 at the Battle of the Slopes the month I took my Army physical in Detroit. I saw 4 men die at the same time and did not know their name. There are many more! I felt betrayed by LBJ. I thought Nixon lied or did not know, one or the other. People ask me when was I in Vietnam? I tell them, "Last night." My mother would send me news clippings from Galloway. Eaglegards...
