We also must not forget the Pentagon & the field in Pennsylvania where innocent lives were lost. Yes, these buildings were amazing but peoples lives were more important than mere concrete & steel. If only 911 had been a horrible dream but alas it was an awful reality that will never be forgotten. Let's hope that the 19th anniversary at the memorial site will go ahead this year despite the coronavirus that has devastated New York & the whole world. RIP TO EVERYONE!!!!

i understand but nothing is known in history that a famous and prestigious place got attacked and ruined like this and still unimaginable and unacceptable for me that this place is gone and all the people inside have to be alive now they were innocent like anyone and their lives were sadistically ruined especially for the passengers of the planes who got the most violent death i can't even imagine the pain to end in small and unrecognizable debris , after all the world trade center should have been rebuilt exactly as he was the strongest response to the terrorists unfortunately they replaced the camplex with smaller buildings and the architects were chosen by nepotism and favoritism while most of new yorkers and family victims chose the camplex to be rebuilt

The imposing twin structures of the trade centre buildings can never be erased from my mind, they may no longer be the dominant feature of the Manhattan skyline that they once was.But here in my mind, they stand forever as a symbol of freedom, unlike the Islamic oppression, that many Islamic countries inflict on their citizens.

For those who don't know, al-Qaeda, an Islamic terrorist organization was behind the attacks of September 11, 2001. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and Osama bin Laden were the two masterminds of the attacks. A small group of terrorists from that same organization first targeted them in 1993, which killed 6 people. The 1993 attack was masterminded by Ramzi Yousef, the nephew of KSM and one of Osama bin Laden's henchmen. He was captured in 1995 and remains incarcerated at ADX Florence in Colorado to this day.
