DO NOT CHARGE for more than 2 hours, batteries may overheat and cause a fire. If the screws are stuck, use this trick kzbin.info/www/bejne/n6W7moiumMqVisU If you remove too often the 'comb' black piece, it will no longer stay in place, it has two tiny plastic bumps that will wear. Do not buy any chinese battery no matter the color or mAh - all chinese batteries don't have more than 200 mAh

I’m convinced. Just going to buy a new one. 😅

me too. Going with this. Panasonic ER389K. Old School Japanese, easier to fix. Users keep 10yrs+

I'll make it finally and say I third that. Off to buy another one vs possible stitches and an ER bill. Good video! Very detailed and get tips.

Thank you for this video - This helped me. The disassembly is close to identical to that of the Remington MB-320C trimmer (which is the one I am working on). Lots of double-sided glue tape inside holding down the sides, the batteries and the circuit panel onto the batteries. The unit uses NiMH AAA Batteries (smaller - not AA size)

Thank you. Very helpful. Enabled me to change the batteries in my similar Remington trimmer. And thanks for the charging tips - I might be able to make this pair of batteries last a little longer.

Thank you for the info ! Cleaned the head/replaced the batteries and fought the little spring clip. Runs like new :)

Very helpful guide, thank you very much for this! I just successfully repaired my Remington MB320, which essentially is the same device, and it works flawlessly.

Thanks for this great Video. I have now replaced the batteries in my Remington trimmer. I had to order 2 batteries with welded on battery tags though. Thanks again. My beard is now neatly trimmed again and another device saved from landfill.

Thanks, very helpful especially how to dismantle the trimmer. Also I went and bought the batteries (AA) prior to dismantling as per your video. When opened it had AAA and the manufacturer had padded it to hold the AAA's in place! However the AA fitted perfectly :)

Thanks for uploading this! Also a good explanation. I dropped mine, even caught it in the last moment. But still it hit the floor and now the adjustment-thingy for the comb doesn‘t work anymore, so I can‘t adjust the cut-length. The drop was only 20 cm but this thing comes in a poor quality... So again: thanks for the video! 🙏🏻🍀

Nice video, but unfortunately, the screws on my device are so tight that three out of four screw heads have now become round. No more chance to open the device or to close it again later cleanly... :/

16:40 can't get the top cap with blades back on to mine, just like you. Still can't figure it out
@Peppermint16 жыл бұрын
Remove the part with the blades, then look at the steel piece near the rotating shaft (the one shown at 16:08): it must be fully seated. It may not be placed correctly, try to turn it 180 degrees and try to seat it again: it should get in there with a snap and stay firmly in place (at 16:08 it might not have been placed correctly).

@@Peppermint1 I removed it for cleaning and now it won't turn on with it seated, your video seems to be quite hard to notice this part.

Awesome thank you!!! and I got the MB-320c But it looks very similar. My question is I lost a charger for it and i was wondering if i could make a diy charger for it. any suggestions?

If you think there is no way i can build such a charger maybe i can open the trimmer and add normal wires, Still I need your suggestions first and thank you!
@Peppermint14 жыл бұрын
The plug of my charger looks exactly like the one in the Amazon picture, it's a standard 3.5mm plug size with the black ring at the same place. So I would guess it should work
@yenespace4064 жыл бұрын
@@Peppermint1 But there is only 1 hole for charger under my trimer.
@Peppermint14 жыл бұрын
@@yenespace406 The standard 3.5 plug goes into that hole for charging, while the usb end of the cable will go into your computer to get the power. The original chargers on these trimmer have this weird 'audio' plug that goes at the bottom of the trimmer. So you can use the cable from Amazon without any modification, just charge from your computer same way you would charge a phone (of course, it will take longer, try to find a 'blue' usb port, it has more power)

Anyone know if lithium rechargeables would work?
@DeaBroggn6 ай бұрын
Probably not, Lithium batteries are 3,7V, NimH/Ni-Cd are 1,2V, so even a single lithium cell has 50% more voltage than 2x NimH in series. It might work short term to overcharge the trimmer, but I doubt the motor and electronics will like it :D
