Tip: wash rice to clean excess starch. It will taste better as well. Also use cold water, idk why Gordon Ramsay said never start with warm water with rice.

Meal prep is best thing ever. Oats with pro. powder, dry PB, ground flax seed, chia seeds, sometimes nuts or berries. I use a mason jar make them for all 5 days but dont add water or milk until day before. Make my lunches and dinners & freeze them to stay fresh. Makes life so easy.

I so love your videos. I just have to mention that you need to be coached on wet and dry measurements. It can make a major difference. I'm 57 and so will try your meal prep ideas!

Rem, Great vid.! Your rice is going to taste so much better if you rinse your rice until the water is almost clear. Removed the excess starch and help the rice clump less.
@drewryan944 жыл бұрын
Just a heads up, starting with hot or warm water is pulling from your water heater which can result in some sediment in your water from the tank itself. As a plumber, I would always recommend cooking with cold water which hasn’t passed through your water heater tank.
@r3sianon9754 жыл бұрын
Tip: Only get your pan to medium-hot. Test it by putting a piece of what you're cooking in and it should sizzle. If you see smoke, then you're burning the pan, and/or you're burning the oil you've used which will add a burnt flavor to your food. Just my two cents. I love your meal prep videos man. You got me into meal prepping, and I've been sticking with it.

Hey Rem! I just wanted to say that I've been watching your videos for the last couple of weeks and I've really enjoyed watching them. I primarily do Olympic weightlifting. So for competitions we do have different weight classes. And I have to make weight in order to compete. Your videos about meal planning and prep have given me a great base. Keep them coming! I also enjoy watching some of the humorous ones. Great to listen to commuting to and from work. Keep them coming buddy! Thanks!

Could you please make a video on the Pros and Cons about the Egg Diet? Additionally, could you please do a meal prep video on a high protein, moderate carbs, and low fat? Similar to Keto, except P=70%-75%, C=20%-25%, and F=5%-10%. What would be the benefits of this type of diet for someone looking to lose 20-25lbs of fat and gain half of those weight back in form of lean muscle? I’d love to see more videos of you eating a specific type of diet when it comes to the main source of protein. For example, a poultry only diet, seafood only diet, beef only diet, pork only diet etc. I have been very tempted to get some 98%-99% lean ground turkey as a main source of protein when it comes to meat.

Same! His website is pretty awesome. For the price I feel like it would be very beneficial if you are really new to meal planning or macros/calories. I started on my own when I watched his macro video that explained 100% of your calorie intake is divided by protein fat and carbs. I think his video was 40% protein, 35% fat and 25% carbs. There's also many calculators online, but if you are really devoted to it, I would let Rem make your first plan and then adjust as you learn from his plan.
