Today I discuss an actual poorly aged game; The Godfather: The Game. It is not a bad game but one that is difficult to play all these years later. There are also an unfortunate list of other issues. Find out all the details in this video!

Good vid! It's cool when you do vids on those older games! I hope we get a remaster/remake of Godfather 1 and 2 Games in the future as well as a 3rd Godfather Game!

Thanks for this video man. One of my favorite games from my childhood and still one of my favorites today. Was actually trying to grab a copy of part 2 on eBay for ps3 just the other week!

Yoooo, I absolutely love this game. It's my all time favourite alongside Sonic Unleashed. To be fair, I think it's a bit unfair to judge the graphics not aging well compared to nowadays considering that this came out in 2006 and this was back when we had the Original Xbox, PS2 and such. I do agree that the game dips in frame rate, especially when you get to huge tension moments like gunfire and especially explosions. And I also agree that the game gets very repetitive, especially when you're 100%ing it since you're constantly taking over businesses and doing contract hits. But the thing I love about this game is the character development of Aldo who is the guy you play as and you see him go from a vulnerable young man living life on the streets to becoming an absolute warrior Mafia Boss. I love the gameplay in this, it feels like it has control in a way of an arcadey type but not too arcadey if that makes sense. The weapons feel great and are really accurate. And also, I recommend watching the Godfather movie because it's so amazing. Especially if you loved the scenes from this which is what the game basically replicates. Also, the soundtrack to this game slaps. The tracks are epic, have nice vibes and some are emotional. The thing I love about this game is that it really makes you feel powerful and unstoppable when you progress further into the game. Especially at the very end. Great video anyway! I watched your COD 3 video a while back and came back to your channel to see how it was going. You've earned my subscription now. Thanks for the video though! Really enjoyed it!

@@IndustrialGamer No worries man! Not gonna lie, I wasn't much for the sequel to this game. Kinda flopped in my opinion lol. Keep doing what you're doing anyway!

Apologize for the late response. This was yet another 'Reminiscing' video, right in my wheelhouse. Appreciated getting your feedback on this one. To be honest, I've never played The Godfather. I was very hyped from its announcement/onset of development, then when it released had much going on in life. When finally purchased it and had time to play it, there were too many 7th gen titles competing for "playtime" (GTA 4, Fallout 3, Far Cry 2, and even Bully: Scholarship Edition, etc). To your point, RE: graphics, the PS3 version appears to be somewhat superior. Likely because that version had a longer development cycle. Either way, I'm expecting this to hold up better than most of the 6th gen GTA clones, including Scarface. Look forward to your next installments in this series, Cam. Take care.

No need for apologies, always appreciate you taking the time to watch the videos. There was a lot going on in gaming back then as well as life, I miss this era dearly! Lots more of these videos on the way, thanks Vin!
