I feel for ya. Old PPF is such a pain to remove! I no longer accept these jobs, it's just too annoying and the risk of damaging the paint is too high for my taste.

In my experience, boiling water works better than steam. It takes for ever to do because you have to boil a new kettle every few minutes. But heat guns and steamers are just not very effective when the film is so old that is break in 1 mm X 1 mm piece every time you pull on it.
