not quite sure I understand that question, we removed the plastic fender guards in the wheel well to reach up under and behind the fender

Removing the wheel well is not needed. You can simply pop the hood and look down and see the tabs coming through the quarter panel 👍

You can 100% reach them from popping the hood. Just did it.

Then what do you do with holes on the side of your truck ? Or was this just to paint the badge ? I want mine gone !???!?!

@@lemmemansplain2085 Just for changing the badges. I'd assume the only way to plug those holes is with bondo. Not worth the effort imo.
