Seems like this technique could also be done during the editing within the LR & LRTimelapse workflow. Once you've tweaked your keyframes, you could swap filter to full sequence and just do the cloning process on everything (and possibly faster given AE is so comp intensive compared to LR), then save all meta data, and then continue to LRTimelapse with the reload > auto transition> etc..

Thank you for introducing helpful techniques. But..how about the encoding time? I removed 600 flies by this tool, and I exported it. Then, the encoding time increased tremendously than usual.

Is there a similar function or possibility for FCPX ? Don't have Premiere. Always nice to be confronted with new ways to solve problems, thank you

I am using After Effects in the video and not Premiere. I don't really know anything FCPX unfortunately!

Emeric, can you give me suggestions on a shoot we are doing next week? We will be about 2-4 blocks from city buildings in Charlotte NC and shooting the rising Supermoon after sunset. I’ve never done this. Do you have a setting you feel can recover some structure in moon and the lights from buildings? We have Sony a7r3’s and all fast lenses. I’m thinking f5.6 at a lower iso and around 1/10 sec?
@hyperslavk83063 жыл бұрын
I have Sony A7Rii and Sigma 100-400 with F5.6. Which is same setup you described. Until moon rises around 10-15 degrees you will be able to keep details of both the moon and buildings. After that you have to choose between them - either to keep moon or buildings exposured correctly. Also it depends on a day you shooting. Full moon lasts 3 days. And each day it rises one hour later. So it might be before sunset, during golden hour and after sunset. Depends on a area you live and time of year. Try each of these days. If you have two same cameras and lenses you may try to make HDR timelapse.

Wow, way too easier, or fun. I have over 100 timelapses that need to be cleaned! It's the only thing stopping me from putting them up for sale
