Everyone needs to know, this actually works I did it today! Traded a bike for a winter car, dummy signed the title but never registered it, I layed a paper towel under it (if you don’t the ink goes everywhere) and rubbed till it went away with a qtip. Took it to the dmv and they said nothing! Hope this helps!

USE VERY SMALL AMOUNT OF NAIL POLISH REMOVER AND GENTLY RUB WITH SMALL PEICE OF LINT IT REMOVES THE INK NOT THE PAPER THEN USE WARM IRON TO DRY PERFECT

I’m in a similar situation, where I had bought a car and planned to sell it and never signed the title, but the police took my car so I had to sign the the title for proof of owner ship. Hopefully this works!!

This definitely works but I did it with nail polish remover, It was 100% acetone though. I tried it on a New Hampshire title but it left a visible stain on the affected area so do this at your own discretion. I will update after I try registering the car in Connecticut if it works.

Tried it on a new mexico title. Didn't work. I think it depends on ink of pen. Paper got a slight yellow stain. Stop after that started showing.

I have 150 unused personal checks I don't need anymore and I need to destroy them. Burning is the last and messiest option on my list. I am soaking the checks in acetone as I write. It doesn't seem to be affecting the printer's ink which I was hoping it would dissolve or cause to run. Maybe it is time to "Lite Em Up"!
