Oils are great. But, Olive oil has a comedogenic rating of 2-3 which means it has the likely hood of clogging pores. Olive oil is heavy on Oleic Acid (which can disrupt the skins mantle) - either causing dryness, itchiness or more breakout. You can add a very small percentage of Olive oil with Hemp Seed oil which is high in Linoleic Acid. This may be a wee bit better. Double cleanse with a gentle cleanser afterwards. Skin with acne needs hydration and moisturisation afterwards. Loving your videos Kaycia xx

I was 13 years old when I first saw a black person. At 18 I took a trip to Minneapolis. I was constantly scolded by my friend because I kept staring at black people. I was just amazed at how different black people looked from each other. I am just being honest in this. This is a real life experience. Why would I grow up thinking black people should look so much alike ? I could not be more grateful to the black community for all I have learned. Many black women have taught me to stand up for myself. Suttle looks of acknowledgement from black men in groups when white males bestowed privilege. And just after 9/11 when I felt I was crazy and out of control, The leader of the black caucus came on T V and said " Where was the call of reason when those buildings came down." I fell on my knees and cried because I saw an angel.

@nicolaalbury82904 жыл бұрын
I've just gotten back into it after trying it a couple of years ago. It didn't work for me either back then but now it's doing wonders! The main thing I've changed is instead of using a damp cloth to wipe the oil off, I actually wet the oil on my face and give it a final scrub. The oil and the water mix together and emulsify and this gets the extra oil/sebum off your face and out of your pores really well! I found this tip in a Pampered Wolf video. Then I go in with a water based cleanser as a double cleanse :)
@pattycarljackson3 жыл бұрын
Just using these oils themselves will not always work for people, using an actual cleansing balm or oil made to be used as a first cleanse and then you go in with a gentle water based cleanser to really remove it. But definitely use an oil balm that’s made for skin.

@Kaycia3 жыл бұрын
I would do this after makeup removal- otherwise I'll be smearing my makeup around my face 😂 This is not something I do regularly, so a normal oil cleanse can be done to remove makeup, but in this case it is a prolonged massage - so better to have already removed makeup.

Thank you!! Yes you can but the less irritation with tret the better. If you do decide to do it, 3 - 5 mins should be good enough and be very gentle. Try and go for jojoba oil if you can (very unlikely to clog pores). All the best 💖

Those black prices are mostly made up of pilled skin that has darkened from the saturation of the oil. Given some of it will be other thjngs, but those bigger pieces although aren’t looking like typical skin that’s rolled but instead had beaded up or “pilled” like a carpet does. It obviously does something, but black heads in general are dryyyyyyyyy and flaky, and are usually pretty deep and packed down in a layered fashion. ANYWAY, figured I’d give my two-cents. It does something and by all means if you try this and it makes you feel good about yourself, like with anything that makes you feel more confident you do you babe.

@Kaycia3 жыл бұрын
Hey for oily skin/combo and if you’re worried about breaking out, go for an oil that will be emulsifying this will make it a lot easier to get the oil residue off the skin completely, these are formulated for the skin and are a much safer bet. I’ve put some in the description. An affordable option is simple hydrating oil, but there are many more. The oil I used was a personal choice and is not needed to do a deep cleanse and see results it’s the method and length of time. 😊

@@almondmilk4988 They’re sebaceous filaments not blackheads. Get a 2% sacylic acid and apply a thin layer to your nose. Try the CosRx blackhead power liquid. Apply only twice a week at first. 2 to 3x a week try the oil cleansing method Kaycia showed. Use squalane oil since most people don’t break out from it. Here are the steps; Apply sacylic acid and wait 20 minutes. Apply squalane oil to your nose and leave it for 15 minutes. After 15 min rub your nose for 3 min. Don’t rub for longer and don’t push too hard because you can rupture capillaries which are impossible to get rid of aside from laser. You might not have much come out at first but you’ll notice your nose will look better after a few weeks.
