Apologies for the quality of this video. Major improvements have been made since this was published 🤦🏻‍♂️ Removing sliding door roller panel from a VW T5 Transporter camper van For a paint job on the rear quarter panel. There weren’t many videos on this, so thought I would pop one up to help others. Nice easy job.

Hi bud thanks for doing vid,just one little point your vid skipped u taking cover panel off and getting it out from behind door also when u replaced it and got it back inside door,myself and wifey moved it forward back ,with door in different positions also mine is 05 camper and the panel is cranked at connection to C pillar no way would it come out then had Eureka moment and thought it might come out thru opening at top of door and bingo out it came no problem,might be different shaped panel connection on other models at C pillar making for easier removal,hope this helps someone.

Amazing video thanks! Was just trying to take mine off as the door sound horrendous when closing so the clips must be broken. Tried to pull it off and got scared of bending it. Will order clips and have another go 💪.

Same clips that fit an 8mm hole so not sure why yours are different
