Hi Breck ….you did seem to enjoy the pool. I thought it was a really nice amenity in your yard. I agree with another person’s comment that a new pool would last and probably would be easier to maintain. Fruit trees would attract a bunch of pests and might eventually produce so much fruit that it would be overwhelming. (Or take years to actually look like anything.) I admit I have a pool bias ….i enjoy our above ground Intex pool very much. Pool ….thats my vote

Sad to see the pool go I enjoy mine so much, but if it's not working out or you don't use it get rid of it.

I won't say anything about the pool because you know how much you use it and enjoy it and whether, as a pal of mine used to say, "the juice is worth the squeeze". But the plants and islands... when I think of all the problems you have with plants I would have to say, "keep the grass"! 🙂

Hi breck I think if it was me I would get rid of the pool mot have another one I would probably not have fruit tress they need a lot of looking after me myself I would have a nice fountain in your garden it would take it and you could build the island arouned it you have a lovley sized garden so it would take it and you would see lots of different birds come down and put plants arouned the island just to set it off you could also have lights around the island that would look cool Just a idea I am sure what ever you do will look good

You loved that pool. Get a new in-ground pool. They’re great.

Just being honest but fruit trees are a pain in the butt. They are very finicky and prone to pests. Getting them to fruit is not easy.

Hey!! I thought you liked the pool?? OK get a inground one dug or a outdoor hot tub!!! This time just get a smaller one. Easier to maintain.

I think a gazebo would be cool there you already have the sidewalk there the island of plants siege hard to mow around.
