The girls are from Brighton. The taller one is Scarlett Fae and the other one is Sylvia Mwenze. Scarlett appeared at the Secret Garden Festival this weekend (that Ren headlined) and her music is mainly an ethereal type of soul, having seen her live I can certify that she has an amazing voice. I think Sylvia is one of her backing singers.

I'm a female metal head and I'm not far from 60 years old. Though I love metal I also love reggae, ska and rap. In my head these genres are very close to each other. Don't ask me to explain though😁. Like you said, good music is good music and who doesn't like good music like Ren, Chinchilla and Raye. Three of my top artists from UK. 🤓🇸🇪

Hey there, love love love your reactions, you can tell you really enjoy what you're doing!! Can't wait to check out more. Just a quick FYI, "commercial artist" really isn't a thing, it's just something popular bands with a big record label are often called. Any band big or small could be on an awards show or some tv talk show, it's just they don't normally get asked unless they're gonna bring in ratings. Officially, as per the music industry standards, there are only two types of professional artists, signed/industry artist or Indie artists (Independent). The only artist considered signed/industry artist are ones that sign a deal with one of the "Big 3" record labels...Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment or Warner Music Group, all other are listed as Indie artists. Now there are literally hundreds of other record labels, from very small ones who only have a couple bands, or the band themselves started their own label, to mid size labels that specialize in Indie artists, to big labels that aren't any of the Big 3, but they might be a label that contracts with one of the Big 3, and acts a sort of farm league for talent. Same goes for being an Independent artist, there are a few that do everything themselves from start to finish, and there are those that sign with labels where they just need help with, lets say.... distribution and ticket sales, and the artist takes care of the rest. Clear as mud yet...lol. ✌💚
