No one suggested this? Damn we messed up 😅😂 And of course Ren produced this like all of his original music. It definitely gives him an advantage to be able to do it all himself cause he can make every little detail fit and do exactly what he wants it to. And what he wants to do is genius 😅 Seven Sins is one of my favourite Ren songs. A brilliant and *forensic* dissection of pain *for Ren’s sick*. But he is also breaking down the sins and how they can turn our species into a “sickness” of the world - especially greed. The song is also just the perfect opening track for the Sick Boi album. When you get deep enough into the rabbit hole to have listened to the full album, you will notice how it’s like a Reniverse tapestry of interconnected lyrics and references with this song hinting at what’s to come. I gotta say though… as Ren keeps growing and more people get to know him, the line “prophets get dropped imagining heaven” is sounding more and more foreboding. He is out there saving lives by giving us hope, inspiring positive change in the world, and asking us to look past our differences to come together as that is the only way he imagines us surviving as a species. There better not be any crazy people out there who would ever want to shoot him for attention! 🫣 We need Ren in the world ❤🐰🕳️

So true, NO ONE is doing it like Ren! When i first heard this one, the switch ups were borderline jarring to me lol, especially at "Lights On, Lights Out"... i thought it hit me wrong, (i think i was just still feeling the other part too much?) and sat shocked. Ren's treatments in Calgary are done, he is heading back to Brighton any day if he has not left already. There COULD be at least one Big Push reunion show while he is there before Ren moves to LA in the fall.
