Just saw another short by Ren, talking about his love for reactors. He talked about having spent so long developing a song it's great to see reactors hear it for the 1st time as it's as close as he gets to listen to his own music as though it's the 1st time. And passed on love to all reactors. What a nice guy

Another fine reaction. Many are puzzled by the animal masks in Ren's videos, especially the pig mask. Ren says it represents his disease. He sees it as an old friend as well as a threat. He has an ambivalence towards his disease. There is also a connection with Orwell's Animal Farm which is revealed in "Animal Flow". The reason why Ren went from the personal to the universal in this video, saying the world is sick is due to Ren's outlook. Ren thinks like a planet rather than an individual. He is the voice we all need to hear, a contemporary prophet. There is no doubt in my mind that had he been born 3,000 years ago he would have been widely known as a prophet. His latest video, "Eden", which is not a music video as such, reveals his prophetic tendencies.

I think he explains this song best with his 1 million subscriber speech. It dives into how it's related, but also where his heart lies within it all... what he wants the world to hear through his music. Probably my most favorite Ren video. 'Hi Ren' and 'Money Game 3' are masterpieces but they are different since they are stories and performance art. 'Sick Boi' is just amazing.

For REN, this was truly his reality. Ren had misdiagnosed Lyme disease for 7 years by conventional doctors who deemed him mentally ill, but when patients are experiencing neurological symptoms, they very often become misdiagnosed. Lyme disease can present itself as many neurological conditions including Acute Transverse Myelitis[3], Ptosis[4], Seizures, and Chronic Fatigue[1] and these symptoms can be often misdiagnosed or deemed psychosomatic. Second is dealing with the symptoms of Lyme neuroborreliosis, these neurological symptoms often leave patients feeling drained and debilitated as they begin losing their quality of life. Over time, patients find themselves unable to do the things they love as they struggle to get ahead of their progressing symptoms.

This shows his experience with the health system, not been taken serious with his pain. being told, it is in his head, a trauma response, while it was lyme disease. 7 years undiagnosed. He realized , it must be something like this, when once he had to take antibiotics for another reason, the symtoms decreased. So he himself did research in the net, with help of friends and then went to a doctor in Brussels/Belgium, who very quickly discoverd the lyme disease. Not only had he been misdiagnosed and not taken serious for so long, but mistreated with pills, which caused more damage...

One thing I like about Ren is, that he can have a hell of a hook or an awesome chorus, but he never exceeds on these. Keep it short, leave them wanting more. That´s how it´s done.

Excellent dive! I always assumed the pig mask guy represented the medical industry, as in hi Ren he was wheeled into frame by the pig mask guy wearing a bloodied apron, and in this video the pig mask reappears as this Doctor. Having gone through my own issues I know I came to resent the people treating me as though I was just a piece of meat/illness waiting to be butchered with yet another 'treatment'. I just felt like I was constantly being dumped onto someone new to have a go.

I’ve been on this wheel many times, and I’m about to have another go round. New doctor, more tests, and because I am in America AND self insured, drowning in more than one way. I don’t think that I have ever connected to anything as much as this. I Love Ren, for giving a voice to so many of us, making us feel seen ( when even those we are surrounded by everyday seem blind and deaf , willfully so). He is the heart and spirit of so many of us. And REN always points the mirror at himself, because we are all players in this “Game”. The problem is when you play it # MG1, MG2, & MG3

My take on this is that Ren's saying of course I'm traumatized with the way the world is ..where do you even begin to fix things especially when our attention is constantly being averted by some crisis or another and he struggles with all this pressure to come up with answers and questions whether he did cause his health problems by trying to understand where everything went wrong with the world and caring so much. ✌️&❤️

The pigs are references to George Orwells Animal Farm... he even done a song called Animal Flow. Part 4 of The Money Game videos (part 3 live stream its under) he has people search for hidden treasure he hid on Jura Island Scotland... also where George Orwell wrote the book. Ironically, 6000 deer/200 people the island is named in Norse (Isle of the deer) so is most tick infested of all 700 Scotrish Island... and that's why he is sick bitten by a tick.

Idk if its already been said, but Ren explained in an interview that the pig idea was from the book, Animal Farm by George Orwell and represents his demons as well. I think theyre used as symbolism for greed in this video for the crappy care he received from mental and physical health instructions.

The pig has a few symbolisms, Lord of the Flies and Animal Farm are the strongest, but it's also a metaphor for human societies in general. A pig butcher is particularly apt for this song, both on the medical system aspect, and the unsustainable capitalistic greed he talks about. At first I was a bit thrown off about the inclusion of the music industry in this, but upon considering the pig butcher metaphors, it made a lot more sense as to why he included it, it's just one more example of the institutions that stymie (pun intended) their own ethos. A very natural progression (idealistically) through Ren's catalog after this song would be to examine Money Game, parts 1, 2 (lyric video), and 3.

I believe that Ren explained that during one of his drug procedures, a side effect was hallucinating that people were actually animals, hence the Animal Flow video. I know he think's the medical profession let him down, and so I think he relates medics to the "butcher pig" .... hope this is helpful xx

As I see it... the pig dressed like a butcher is kinda like a sort of symbolism for the kind of healthcare which Ren experienced and which "butchered" his diagnose and treated him wrong for years and made everything worse. In "Hi Ren" that pig figure literally put him into this bleak and grim cellar and left him alone = which for me was a symbolism for the "mental dark place" in which he was put due to his illness and wrong treatment for years...also here the whole scenery is happening in such a bleak and grim cellar atmosphere as well...and that medical professional glimmering into the pig is treating him wrong as well.

The pig is wearing a butcher's smock. The irony is that the animal most often potrayed in media being butchered is a pig. So, the pig is butchering its own species/itself. Ren recently revealed what the pig symbolizes to him, but has also said that he wants everyone to assign their own meaning to it because everyone has a different life experience.

@@KoalityReactions it's what I understood from the words you expressed, I mean no offense, but if you look at your reaction you will see what I mean, what Ren meant in that part is that everyone is to blame because we are all part of the system, we all need to take part in making a change if we want things to be better, specially unmasking the bad actors in political elites around our environment, from municipal to federal every level, I believe there are more good people than bad people, probably 90% good 10% bad, the latter is vicious imposing their agenda their perspective of how things should work, well this could make sense or not to you depending on your experience in life some people well accommodated with wealth shielded from reality may think the system is fair.

I watch hundreds of reactions and others say they love his voice, or so many genres out of one person, great guitar work etc.. They had no clue he was sick. When they go apeshit why he didn't eat his food or even take a bite in Genesis, it is explained he is throwing his food down in frustration because these are foods he can't eat any more and why. Then they have a little bit more understanding.
