Dr Mike used to be my tutor/lecturer when I did my nursing. Just got a job in Urology/Surgical and have found my way back to these videos to revise before I start! Big thanks for the helpful videos!

A WET BED is another good acronym Acid-base balance Water removal Erythropoiesis Toxin removal Blood pressure regulation Electrolyte balance D vitamin activation Hope that helps as well fab videos thankyou folks!

Renin is a proteolytic enzyme that is released into the circulation by the kidneys. Its release is stimulated by: sympathetic nerve activation (acting through β1-adrenoceptors) renal artery hypotension (caused by systemic hypotension or renal artery stenosis)👍
