Love it and I want one badly. Had a R17 TL 1973 with the electrics sliding vinyl roof in metallic green was a project car. I wish i never sold it and could buy one today. Renault please make this car we need more retro Electric car like the R5, people are getting sick of endless pretend SUVs

Weird to see modern styling on an original R17 bodyshell - be interesting to see how much would change in terms of A pillars and lack of B pillar if Renault do decide to proceed with a production model. I have an original 17 Gordini and think it would take a hell of a lot to get me into a modern version. 🙄

Maybe they should just take the old name and bolt it onto a new electric SUV that shares nothing with the old one. That's never been tried before....
