Thank you James, much appreciated. I know Peugeot is talking about coming back to the US, I do hope Renault would too. I was never fussed about Renault, my brother has convinced me to drive one and oh boy, they have come a very very long way. Must be one of my favourite hot hatches, no doubt. I will come to the US this year and test all the cars we don't get here :-)

Great honest review, great car and great roads. Totally agree with you regarding grip on my RS280 Cup chassis. It's amazing and I've been driving 4WD Impreza for 20 years and a Focus RS Mk3 more recently. The FWD Renault with LSD is not like any other FWD I've driven and build quality is way better than my previous Focus RS.

Exept, the other way around, get the EDC and grab her by the knee. Burn some rubber and then after a while explore how spacious the rear seats are with her. Thats a hot hatch for me. Driving a mk7 GTI atm, looking for a more track focused hatch as replacement eventually.

Fun to see you Anna in a new video. This Renault Mégane R.S. Trophy, looks great. But I do not think I would be dared to put myself behind the wheel of this car, because there is a great risk that the horns grow out of the boiler on one and you want to drive with it as it was a Rally car after some forest road. Then the chairs probably help to give that feeling and sound from the engine.

Hola Anna!!! A beautiful scenery for a test drive. Oh la la! Great review of the French hot hatch. The Megane RS 🚀, little 1.8 litre turbo engine, but it develops 300 horse power. That's plenty of power! I really things like the front fog lights design, reminding the tradition on racing competition of Renault, especially on f1 🏎️ Definitely, it could be very nice to see more reviews of this kind of cars, like the 308 GT, or the Leon Cupra R. Best review on the Megane i have seen until now. I bought one my self cause it does everything. Yoi can go shopping and have a blast on the way there. Cant wait for summer and drive it through the swiss alps. A lot of reviewers say the ride is to harsh and all i can say is that they would be better of driving a prius if they think its to hard its just perfect

So his childhood friend convinced him to go backpacking in Switzerland and Germany and the end of the journey in switzerland ,HE was by the cable cars and he reached up to hold on to something ,and was elecrocuted.Trajically,and it was all over the news in Switzerland and the hockey world as he was a Phenomenal player.did u hear about it. I was just about to log off the internet when I saw a thumbnail of this video on my computer, so I thought why not treat myself to another entertaining car review. Personally I don't really like alcantara... I mean, it's a nice material, but not on seats, because those "stains" or trails or whatever you call them, it just doesn't look right to me. The sound of the engine sounds nice for something that's turbo'd, I suspect it might be synthesized somehow, but it does sound nice in my opinion.

Isa Saifullah As an owner of one of these fantastic cars I can tell you that the sound is not necessarily synthesized. There is an option for it, but you can turn that off (as I have done) and it still sounds absolutely fantastic .

Sadly, we don't get many hot hatches in America, and the ones that already exist are being pulled due to lack of profit margin and are getting replaced with boring ass SUV's. The only cars that compete with this here are the STi and GTi. Outside enthusiasts, the US buyer has always had trouble understanding fun compact cars.

One of the reasons the Asian brands have been very successful in the US. And now the trend is starting to repeat in Europe.

Those trucks wouldn't even fit in European roads and would have a very hard time meeting the EU6 standards. As much as I like the Yukon for offroading into the wilderness, it requires some skill and sense of size to drive.

That engine at 1.8ltr developing so much power seems too small. You have to wonder how long that would last before a rebuild is required. I would be more comfortable with nearer 2.5ltr.
