Great interview...well articulated by the CEO. What comes out clearly is a lack of India first strategy by Renault. I think there is more internal selling to do for them. Folks used to buy dusters 10 years ago with price points of 9 to 14 lakhs. Why are they still obsessed with below 10 lakh market?

Entire range is with weak engine line... although Nissan/Renault has very good products in international markets.

I have 2 directional questions for Renault, I hope someone from Renault sees this. A- Pro Renault 1. I hope Maruti should not behave like an immature child and create a half cooked vehicle on wagon r platform vehicle to compete with Triber. Triber is really good vehicle from engineering point of view. B. Sarcastically Pro Renault 1. What the hell are they doing with all the portfolio from Asian countries and European countries ?? Kia came after you and still managed to raise the bar with Hyundai. And made Maruti think about survival. 2. Where the hell is your Alliance ? There are nice monocoque vehicles in small countries like New Zealand. Why the hell those vehicles are not launched in India. Your alliance dropped Micra when it was good for sub 4m hatch segment. Megane was never considered.

Need to bounce back quickly reading the indian market or else it will be too late for reno they should launch 1.0 turbo engine for triber atleast to stay in the hunt really they should take it seriously or else i am afraid it will be like fiat and ford or other brands which left I don't think duster will surprise Indian market because they have done too late to bring back the legend which made space for SUVs in Indian market
