Hi when the injector top has been removed ( 29 mm hex I believe), any ideas what thread size the puller threads on to on the bottom half of the injector please? Thanks!

The weather has turned to sh1t 😂! .....that ebay kit should pay for itself in no time!. Hope you've made some progress at least

Yeah mate, weather is just terrible just now, needing to drop the gearbox in my Iveco as the dual mass flywheel has failed but just cant do it lying on the road in this weather. As for the injectors got them all out, got the head off only to find that the piston in cyl 1 basically turned to a powder and melted. ruined the bore, head, valves etc. Time to find an engine me thinks. :) Thanks for watching!

Did you give the air fed puller a go? If so did it work ok? I have the same engine with no compression that I’m going to attempt to remove injectors with the same tool tomorrow

No I didn't mate, that was going to be backup plan. It's only a small compressor I have so prob wouldn't run for long or have the full power, but good luck on your one!

I only have a 24ltr compressor, it never touched the injectors, as u said it doesn’t have the capacity to really get at them…..so needing a bigger compressor before ruling it out

Hi mate great video could I ask the adaptor you used to screw on the injector body it doesn't say what thread it is does it only I got a puller but no adaptor I was goin to use 2 nuts welded together if I new the thread my injectors are exactly same as yours thankyou

i have only just seen this comment and im sure you have sorted it by now, So sorry about that. Im not sure the thread on that coupler it was just in the kit i purchased.
