I'm just glad Punk and Bryan are wrestling in a happy environment again. My interest level in the WWE product after April goes down after the part-timers leave and they stop caring about the week to week stories. @Craig Waldera Lol nice trolling. But to answer your question for anyone else who happens to read it, first thing he said in a ring in over half a decade was put Britt Baker over, he's working with one of the hottest young talents AEW has in Darby Allin, he did a physical segment with 2.0 and Danny Garcia, he's been non-stop talking about how good talents like Jungle Boy are while standing in the ring with them. None of those are huge on their own, but put all those together over the past few weeks and it's pretty clear what he's done. Not to mention how happy he's clearly made a lot of people. And of course he hasn't had a match yet, you really think they'll give CM Punk's first match in 7 years away on free tv when they could put it on one of their marquee ppv's and in Chicago no less. Oh me too! I would love to hear from more of the guys that learned little things like that from Eddie talk about what all they learned. Man imagine what Eddie would be doing right now if he was still here with us!!! I wonder if he would still be wrestling because that was just who he was was a wrestling machine and with as good as shape he kept himself in, minus some of the GH, he may still be in the ring on a part time limited basis. No house shows but maybe big ppvs thru the year with some tvs thrown in to build whatever he's doing. I don't believe he would have ever left WWE though. He was a "Made" guy already with wwe before he passed and was viewed as a top guy and highly respected and treated well. BUT in saying that, I thought the same thing about big show and mark Henry when they jumped. And especially Bryan Danielson So who knows. Bryan even said himself he loved working there and loved who he worked with and he was given alot of things apparantley that most nobody else gets like he said he was helping on creative write the shows some and they let him free lance a little more with his promos and what he was doing. And the biggest thing, they were gonna allow him to go wrestle in Japan and diff places overseas that he really wanted which anyone that knows how WWE operates knows that just does not happen ever! Lol Bryan even said him and Vince are very close and he said that Vince sometimes was too over protective of Bryan which shows you how Vince felt about him. So him jumping was and will prob always be the biggest jump. Unless someone like a lifer and huge name like a randy orton or someone. I'm not gonna say Cena, taker, Shawn Michaels or a rock because thats just not gonna happen.

Renee getting Jets pizza and thinking it's Chicago Deep Dish is fuckin great. 100% a mistake tourists make and it cracks me up.
@JeremyBearimy9133 жыл бұрын
To be fair, most people are completely unaware that "Detroit-style" pizza is even a thing, let alone that they have TWO signature styles. I'm 32 years old, and I just learned about "Detroit Deep Dish" maybe 6 months ago. Before that, I assumed deep dish pizza was exclusively a Chicago thing.

Two things I’ve taken from this interview - Tony Khan respects and cares for his workers (the polar opposite of VKM), and that Joe Rogan is very likely NOT on CM Punks Christmas mailing list!!

I wonder if that is kinda part of an on going inside rib with Christian and punk over the whole Christians debut getting some of the fans shit talking him that it was a let down debut, that Christian wasn't a hall of Fame level star like aew advertised it would be because everyone was hoping it was punk by the way it was built up lol. Reason I say that might be it is because in their promo after cameras stopped rolling last week on dynamite when punk and christian both were in the ring cutting promos to send the fans home happy, Christian made a small funny jab at himself about it and when he did punk died laughing lol. So I bet it's something between them two now that they will always have to remember and joke about, cause punk saying here "oh I havnt paid much attention to christians career " and laughed,sounds like that's what it prob is lol.

I really like that he mentioned how his previous mentality of feeling like he had to tough things out and muscle through likely made him rub some people the wrong way. I think that we as people have the ability to constantly change and grow, and often times we can be so influenced by our environments and surroundings more than we are willing to admit. Clearly his mentality and time trickling down in WWE wasn't the healthiest, but this just shows how being in a supportive, positive, and cultivating company (AEW) can make such a huge difference for the better. Hearing how revived and invigorated he is to be back is such a thrill! Super happy for him!

@@CEREBROBELFAST my prediction 2.0 and Garcia force Darby and Punk to go to a no contest and destroy them both. Then Bryan runs in and makes the save. Sting has said he won’t be at ringside, possibly he gets ambushed out back by all 3 before they take out punk and Darby,
@CEREBROBELFAST3 жыл бұрын
@@Ginric99 I'm not sure how BD will debut, I could possibly see Omega cutting a promo after the main event saying he beat Jon Moxley, he beat Adam Page and now he's beaten Christian, there's no one left in AEW who can challenge him, then Ride of the Valkyries hitting and DB coming out to confont him right as the show ends. I don't know but that's my prediction anyway. I'd rather keep him and CM Punk apart for a while to spread the rub around as best as possible, but when they eventually meet it'll be epic, we have a lot of dream matches to look forward to now.
