I tried Rent the Runway for one month. In this video I go over what Rent The Runway is and my thoughts on the service.
What is Rent the Runway?
Rent the Runway is an e-commerce platform that allows users to rent, subscribe, or buy designer apparel and accessories. It was founded by Jennifer Hyman and Jennifer Fleiss, who launched the company in November 2009.
How will I be billed each month for my membership?
Members are charged a membership price on a monthly basis. Memberships are automatically renewed and you will be billed on the same day every month at the rate then in effect to your payment method on file. Your membership will not expire unless you contact us and choose to cancel.
What memberships are offered?
We offer 3 base plans which give you different levels of access to the rotating closet. Once in a base plan, you will be able to adjust the number of items and shipments in your plan as needed.
4 Item Plan
Receive 1 shipment per month and select 4 styles to enjoy all month long.
You have access to a curated edit of 450+ designers and thousands of styles for work, weekend, and every day.
Members who receive 1 shipment a month can add an extra item to their monthly shipment for $27/mo + tax. Learn more about extra spots here
8 Item Plan
Receive two shipments per month with four items at home at a time.
With this plan, members enjoy access to all designers and styles in our rotating closet.
16 Item Plan
Receive four shipments per month with four items at home at a time.

They are horrible to work with. I had two items that didn’t fit, shipped them back immediately. They couldn’t get anything back to me before I left for vacation. I got stuck paying 2 months for 2 items I didn’t even end up wearing because they wrinkled so bad.
