Ive seen these guys live 5 times and they are amazing. They were actually the first band I ever saw live at 13. This song has a special place in my heart. I had the Hi Infidelity album as a kid and its amazing as well but this was my favorite song. I remember moving to a new town when I was getting ready to go into 5th grade. My dad took me to a high school basketball game not long after we moved there and I knew no one. I will never forget feeling so small as we walked through the crowd to gymnasium and as we stepped through the doors, they were playing this song in the gym and I was mesmerized! I had never heard music played at that level before and I was like I said, in a trance. years later as I was about to start high school I went to stay with my cousin and his parents let us go see Reo Speedwagon at Freedom Hall in Louisville Ky and my life was never the same! When they played this live, it was probably the most spiritual experience I had ever had. I count these guys along with Triumph and a few others as bands that helped me turn out to be a decent human being. When you get done with R E O lol, you should seriously check out The Avett Brothers. They are in the same vein. They were put here to help us all along.

Kelly Johnson I appreciate you! I liked her fine, until there was a scuffle & he had to call the cops, on HER! She went to jail for the night! He got EVERYTHING out, brought it back here, and it wasn’t too very long he began spending nights & now it’s even weeks. I did not write all that earlier because I thought what if my kids saw this but he’s not gonna come on this channel I don’t think. Plus it’s all fact! It’s not like I’m making up stories! The thing of it is I stayed in a unhealthy relationship for 30 years which meant which means my kids. But, thankfully I didn’t teach my daughter there because she to my attention I needed to leave him, my husband her dad, because I was worth more than being treated the way I was! I was shocked, but every word she said was true! So I feel I taught him that it’s OK to stay in bad relationships because I did it for so very long. I didn’t want to be a “statistic,” and so instead I put up with and had the kids living in a volatile situation. It was mental abuse. I guess maybe if he was actually hit me I would’ve realized it was wrong. I’m 61 now. Left him in 2008 at the end of May. We divorce December 2012, because again I wanted him to want me back and to deal his addiction, but he wouldn’t and had nothing to do with wanting me, either. Just several months after I left him in 2008, he hooked up with his best friends girlfriend! No kidding! My ex had told his best friend for years how bad she treated him, that she was an alcoholic, not worth his time, the whole 9 yards! My family came to realize the two of them deserve one another, and I hope my exes house because he is the father of her two kids. We get along decent enough, but he rarely calls our two kids. He is the one missing out but they missed out throughout life on having a decent father and for that I still feel pretty darn bad about. So, that’s the rest of the story. Thank you for responding. ✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻💕💕💕

@Kelly Johnson My daughter is 23 now but she spent from age 15 to 19 with a total piece of shit and when she finally got her fill, she was DONE!! When she broke up with him, I heard her playing Fleetwood Mac "Landslide" while she was in the bathtub one night and I sat on the hallway floor, outside the bathroom door & cried my eyes out. My Girl. She is SO STRONG!! That guy went to rehab & tried to contact her & apologize for the way he treated her. He said It part of my rehab to make ammends & she said Fuck You and Fuck Your Rehab. LOL(Time makes you bolder, even children get older) :)

There is not one bad song off Hi Infidelity. Every song off this album is Hi Quality. I don't know if this is a good time to bring this up, but the 80's New Wave era is awaiting you. No one on You Tube, to my recollection, has reviewed the band "The English Beat." They had a lot of monster hits in the 80's. Their music is a combination of Ska/Reggae, New Wave, R n B and Rap. First song you should listen to by them is the song - "Save it for Later." Trust me - you will like them.

Funny story. When we were planning our wedding, my husband decided he wanted to choose the song we did our first dance to. He chose this. I knew of it- knew the chorus, and it sounded ok. It wasn’t until we were dancing, that I listened to the verses, and realised what he was actually singing about!!! So, we celebrated our wedding dance by letting our guests know that I was “a snake in the grass, all coiled up and hissing “ and that my husband “knows all about those other men”!! We’re still married- 15 years later!
