Could you guys do a video about your doorbell wifi? I replaced my Nest doorbell with Reolink but having frequent wifi drops vs the Nest doorbell which was rock solid. Thanks for the videos you are producing.

Same here. Bought the wifi doorbell but it fails to connect to wifi. Rebooting router, resetting the doorbell, setting it up via lan first, switching 2.4 and 5Hhz - nothing works! Had to set it up with lan cable

@byniasofficial2567 Same crap here. The REOLINK rep directed me to connect via lan. Then the doorbell will eventually learn the wifi. 5 hours later it didnt learn a damn thing. POS.

A tip : when prompted by camera during set-up to add wifi name and password DO NOT copy and paste the wifi name and password from your clipboard or from your phones keypad suggestions as it will fail to connect everytime. Manually type this information into the relevant fields and click CONNECT ,your camera should connect to your wifi no problems. Took me an entire day plus Reo help desk who didn't know about this issue, in the end I just tried it as a last ditch attempt and it worked.

Problem I took down my Reolink Argus PT after being outdoor for a year or so. I reset the camera and as I was in the process of re installing it I tried to scan the QR-code and it wouldn't scan due to the code being faded away. Is there any other way of connecting it without that code on back of the camera which is no longer readable??? The QR code is nowhere else in the entire package/box it came in.

I have a CX 410 W camera and every time I try to connect with my iPhone XR in my home I have to turn off my home Wi-Fi and then turn it back on. This happens every time I open the Reolink app. This happens, no matter what phone I use

I have a Reolink Trackmix WIFI camera on my back porch. I don't know what happened but it has stopped working. When I plug it into the power adaptor nothing happens. Usually this camera will do a calibration dance. Do you think I need to remove the SD card cover and do a hard reset? Any suggestions would be welcome.

Hi, I reset my Reolink camera bc I upgraded my wifi system. When I reset the camera all it does is continuously ding....ding.....ding.....ding. I can't get it to stop. I tried letting the battery die, then recharging it but when I turned it on it did the Reolink dance music and then started pinging again. Help!

I had this problem too. Tried draining battery too. I removed the camera from the app. I tried to add it back and same constant chime. I put the camera away for 6 months tried again. Charged the camera up and used the qr that connects it to wi fi again. I think I had the same chime happening. Seems it was looking for that QR code for the Wi FI router. It works again! I see its been 5 months for you. Time to try again?

Ok I fixed the issue of the video working on Wi-Fi but not on phone data. What u have to do is go to settings then system, then on the top find where it says Info and change the tab that says Uid to On and than it will work. Your Welcome 😎

I have 2 out of 10 cameras that disconnected themselves at the same time. One is plug in power and one is solar. Why did this happen to 2 cameras at the same time and how to I prevent it. I’m not always home to reset the device, plus that’s really effing annoying. Please respond here. Thank you

My E1 zoom and E1 pro connected at first, and i watched them from my phone for like 30 seconds each, and now they just do not connect. Why is there a password on each device? It seems like when i used a different one only one camera worked. Why is the connection so bad? My ring cams are working fine and the new one i installed was easy but the reolink stuff both thag i just bought and that i have from years ago are both doing horrible at keeping an internet connection. What do I do?

Connect your nvr to a PC or Mac go to the Reolink app go to settings, network, and enable UID to on. That should fix the issue. I had the same problem.

I figured it out if anybody else is having this issue where you can connect via Wi-Fi, but once you leave the Wi-Fi network you lose video feed or connection.. on the NVR, go to system/info/ turn on "Allow Reolink App/Clinent to access the devi e via WAN using UID."

Connect NVR to PC or Mac go to reolink app go to settings, go to network, go to advanced, enable UID and you should access live feed with cellular network.

To suggest to connect the camera to the 5 GHz instead of the 2.4 always if available is NOT a good suggestion. 5 ghz is faster but it’s not good through walls, such as the ones that Argus PT Ultra will encounter being an external camera. This video is not taking about the ports to be open on the router. My camera has difficulties getting outside the Wi-Fi so is not reachable when I am not at home which makes it useless! Make a more technical video regarding the setting to solve this problem that apparently is very common with Reolink customers especially with battery powered models which can’t have a specific port to be opened.
