I've been searching for a fix for the constant connection error. You were the only person to make sure you needed to play around with the distance to make it work. GREATLY APPRECIATE THE HELP!!!

REOLINK needs to utilise a different, more robust and easier way to read the QR code. This crucial step is a huge pain point and takes for ever to execute. I also had another wifi repeater device attached to the network which as in your case stopped the connection to the REOLINK! I tried for hours to make a connection! I took the repeater modem device out of the network and started again. Success! Also make sure you r Router Modem is in 2.5GHZ mode. If it is in 5 GHZ mode it will not communicate with the REOLINK! Excellent video tutorial.

Reolink is not scanning the QR code on my phone. I tried so many things and nothing is working. I’m thinking of switching to ring

Thank you! Managed to connect as shown. Do you know how we can view the camera remotely? I used to be able to do that but with this new settings, I cannot. Only possible to view and playback when my phone is connected to the same wifi.

For me, I have one of the new models E1 outdoor CX, and I can't connect the wifi (that in this model is via bluetooth) without using the cable, after using the internet cable I can connect to wifi and then I can remove the cable, but when I remove the camera from the energy source and then put it back again, I can't connect to the wifi anymore, unless I repeat the process of putting it back in the internet cable and connecting to wifi and then removing the cable. In that way it's bad because this camera is to the outdoor and then I will need a long internet cable just to connect the first time.

Perhaps the camera is gettting a new IP address from the router everytime it connects back. A router using the DHCP protocol to dinamically distrute IPs. Have you tried to set a static IP to the camera so it won't change anymore?

@@SmartDevicesChannel hmm, I don’t know how, but I will search for that. Thanks !

Hi folks. Try connecting with an ethernet cord first. Set up your camera, then unplug the ethernet. It should swap to the wifi.

Make sure you have the 2.4Ghz WiFi network enabled in your router.

@SmartDevicesChannel I have the 2.4 and the 5 separately, still I had to put it manually.

@@juandiegogonzalez4552 Sometimes the router hides the Signal. Mine for example has this option. Not sure about yours.

I have the reolink Argus pt camera also does not show up on my network. Any fix yet?
@SmartDevicesChannel3 ай бұрын
@@MrAstrokidd Not sure what your problem is since I don't have more details about your setup. I had a Reolink Argus PT and it was working pretty fine in the network. As long as you have the camera and the device that will connect to it (NVR, PC or mobile phone) in the same network, connected to the same router and the router has not LAN isolation feature enabled, you are going to find the camera. It's easy but you need to check these details since there's not a "press a button" solution, you need to check your network, setup, firewall (if using Windows), router setup, etc.
