Awesome thanks mate. Just purchased my first boat yesterday and already stripping the inside. I’m in New Zealand too so works out awesome to see some familiar paint brands haha

Cheers for sharing mate, IV just started doing my old 1971 plylite Bluewater with exactly the same idea as you've just shown in your videos ( I watched the others too) just a nice freshen up without going nuts cost wise, your boat has come up really well and your attention to detail shows. Nice work.

hi mate, I'm refurbishing my old speed boat, wondering if I bother laying a vinyl/carpet down on the floor or would a paint like these provide enough grip and protection from the fibre glass

With any grip additives (which I didn't use) I prefer a carpeted finish. I have another video on that.

Do you need to sand fiberglass befor primer?
@rh26004 жыл бұрын
No - paint product said simply to ensure surfaces were well cleaned. Primer and paint has keyed perfectly.

Your exactly right BM, not even a degrease, down the track that paint will be flaking off everywhere as there has been no physical bond to the original two part polyurethane paint. Good luck bro
