Repair of Dyson DC14 Valve Carriage

Gonna try to fix the one I have. Hope I can do it. I found a list somewhere that this part is the same as some other Dysons. Couldn’t find it under DC 14 but found it for a 7. They are a little hard to find.

At 7:07, you segue from an apparent un-necessary removal of the wheel to having the valve seat (??) completely removed - one of the most critical parts of this process that isn't shown!

Very good I have watched this video3 times still have not got mine back does that clip into groves when you put back the pice that was so hard to get in

I can't get the port plate off of the vacuum. I have a new Valve carriage.

I have the same broken part on the same vacuum cleaner. Dyson is overpriced AND overrated.
