Thanks for putting this video on KZbin. I was looking for electrically conductive epoxy and while the manufacturers provide plenty of information on the conductivity, they didn't seem to have much to say about the mechanical properties. However after watching you pull on that wire I'm sold. It looks to be as good mechanically as it is electrically.

I can see it's usefulness where heat is an issue. Have you tried it with surface mount? I mean miniscule amounts applied, say with a needle.

Would it be okay to use this to modify Game Boy devices to avoid soldering? Many modifications require soldering a wire to a motherboard or even from a ribbon cable to a motherboard. One includes soldering a 330 ohm resistor between two points (Game Boy Macro).

I bought the "atom adhesive" silver epoxy off ebay, not once, but twice. Both times they sent me dried up, end of life products. All the seller wanted to do was argue and say "no its not.! Its such a racket, everybody on ebay and amazon wants an arm and a leg for a small dribble of this stuff. I think gold bars are cheaper. All i wanted to do was to remount my defroster tab on the back window of my Chevy. I guess its gonna have to be JB weld....

I wonder how well that stuff would work to repair keyboards that have carbon/graphite pads on the circuit board for the contacts, but due to age and use some of the pads have a lot of resistance and don't want to detect key presses any more. And I wonder how it compares in both price and effectiveness to that "Keypad Fix" conductive paint.

The link for silver leads to AA-DUCT 906, and they say AA-DUCT 902 is more conductive (maybe 906 has better adhesion, though).

Hy, i am looking for a solution to atach wires on a keyboard controller that has verry thins copper plates covered in some black pouder seems like carbon, i tried soldering directly but it is verry thin and will come of the pcb and broke. I was thjnking of mechanicaly atach that wite with 2 plates on top and bottom wrenched but i would like some conductive paste for a better conection with the wire instead of the solder

If you can clear away the black coating to expose shiny copper, this epoxy will work.

Dude, use Carbon powder rather than Silver. Carbon is more cheaper than Silver.

Those battery holders cost $1.00 at the dollar store and come with a Flash Light. LOL Pricey it is. Works it Does. I've used this stuff to connect wires to Home made Conductive Graphite Paint used to shield Metal Detector Coils.
