Kirk, I love your fun & informative videos. I have only done one stucco project when I replaced a garage door, I love the trawled on stucco from the '70, the blown on has no class or heart. Beginners luck, let me match, & I made sure the paint was a match as well. My work brought the inspection down $1,000 an the home sail was approved. I did learn onw thing... you can not paint over Silicon Caulk, BUT, Latex caulk will stick to silicon caulk & you can paint over that. Again, Thank you for your videos :-)

Hey Kirk, how did you get into plastering was it by accident or what . I got into my field completely by accident and never looked back.

@@Guardducks unusual question, I grew up really poor and ignorant in a ghetto where there were no jobs. Answered an add for a job paying 5 bucks an hour to hod carry. Answered it and got the job, I didn’t know at the time no one wanted it either as it was filthy, physical and toxic. Did it for two years and found out the plasterers were earning 4 times as much. When I asked why was told I was just-a laborer lacking skill, I mentioned I could do there job better then the could. They said try it, I did in a couple weeks I was as good as the best. growing up where I did I learned to use nunchucks like a master at 14. That provided me with more than enough hand eye coordination. I do have videos to show how good I was then and still am, but posting them would seam like bragging. There was a time in my life where I went two years carrying them for protection through the eighth and ninth grade. When I was supposed to go to the tenth which was a different school, the violence I witness towards another’s so-called cracker, that first day, became my last day of schooling. Fact is I understood the violence and felt it justified. But didn’t need anymore hate or violence instilled in me. This my friend is another story. Cheers.😉

Hi Kirk. I would like to try and sort of resurface a section of my house’s stucco. The wall has been previously painted who know how many times. What should I apply first to the wall so that whatever mix I use sticks to the the preexisting stucco? Also, lol, what mix should I use to apply a thin layer to the stucco just to make it even? I would appreciate it if you make stuff that I can put at Home Depot. Thanks!

Why would anyone want a fish eye camera two feet away from the work area in constant motion with no ability to focus on things while his arms constantly obscure the lens? We film in 4k 60fps with 15x optical zoom. It ain't perfect because we're contractors not videographers, but it's a heck of a lot better for what we do than a goofy action camera.

@@AGNiklauski-yx3gy yes, I am serious because I actually make videos and don't just talk about making videos. Feel free to show us how it would work with a camera strapped to your head or chest. I've owned multiple go pros. They do not film close up things well, it's a limit of the hardware and fish eye lenses. They are great for what they are designed for, but would not work well for our uses.
