What an excellent video!!! No music, no intro, just straight to the topic. What a joy. All so clear as a bell. You folks are the BEST!!!! Very grateful, thank you! Subscribed. Tip - if your washer leaks water, and hoses are not the issue, take out the soap dispenser drawer and give it a good wash in hot water. Also take off the top, then look for a soap dispenser thingie that looks like a distributor cap with tubes coming out of it. This also gets clogged with soap every few years. Label the tubes, label the 'distributor cap piece', then take out the piece and wash it well removing soap debris. Connect it back again, and voila, job done! No more leaks.

Thanks so much for this video. While my machine is not precisely the same, it's close enough that I was able to tear it open with only minimal problems last night. My wife had run an old rug through the machine and the rubber backing on it crumbled into a million small pieces, leading to the drain filter being clogged and the drain hose not working correctly. Once I got the machine opened up, we were able to determine that the tub to pump hose was completely impacted with little bits of rubber. What a mess! Anyway, I can now see a reasonably clear path to getting everything working again, which cost me a bit of time but saved me a great deal of cash.

This might be long but this video was a great help. I found this video and used it to remove the front panel because the drain attached to the washer door boot at the bottom was clogged. I believe this is a design flaw since it stays clogged with hair and dirt. Don't know what the purpose of this drain is other than aggravate the customer. I have to daily pull hair out the hole and sometimes stick a long tool in there to work more hair up. The tube makes two 90 degree turns, one to the left and then to the right; that's why it's so difficult to clean without having to remove the front panel! I'm going to have to remove the front panel again, clean the tube, of course reverse procedure and this install a filter in that hole! I'm tired of this! I'm thinking of making a video of this myself!

my washer just clogged and turned itself off with some water inside. the small tube in the bottom-left is also clogged (we live in a beach town and the clog feels like 90% sand), and i can't use a tool to unclog it, so i'm glad this video was here to show me how to remove the front panel and fix the clog, as you mentioned!

Dear Repair Clinic Team, Thanks for the video. My LG washing machine 7KG , which I have been using from last 6 years, the hinge holding the glass frame broke, also the glass cover too. The LG technician told me to discard the machine as there was no parts available according to him. I couldn't find a reason to throw away the machine as It was working ok. I manage to get a second hand glass cover and a hinge. But I didn't know how to open the machine to fix it as the nails which holds the hinges were tight and it was difficult to remove them, even with rust remover. Hence, I used the machine with a rope around for few months until I saw your video. Your video showed where to open, how to open the machine safely. I removed the front sheet, took it to a welding shop where they heated the nuts and it was easy to remove them. So finally I fixed it. The machine it now running like a race horse. Thanks to you. you own every bit of the appreciation. You have saved my money to buy a new machine. I spent only $14 (QR 60) and made me feel confident. Thanks to my father for the support. Only one question arises in my mind. Why the company technicians do not support after the warranty period??? Keep up good work! thanks and regards SK

Water flow from the valve is what starts the siphon. The water valve may not be letting enough water to flow through the dispenser to make the bleach siphon out. You can also check the water lines to the dispenser the make sure they are not plugged up.

I'm not sure why it's designed like this but if it is expected that a little amount of water will drip down to the inside of that rear panel, why is there a space in between the rear panel and machine body for the water to get in? And is this a big of a deal? Did I damage anything by doing that? It's just a couple of droplets and the unit wasn't plugged in when that happened a few hours ago and I'm not plugging it now until I'm sure about everything.

Finally one one the washers doesn't work at all after it powers up no matter how much yoy press the start/pause button. Now when U turn the select button to cotton/towels or normal no time is displayed just 2 dashes, time ius displayed at other mode setting but does not operate. Arte we talking front panel assembly or main control board? Part numbers? Hope U can help
@repairclinic11 жыл бұрын
The symptoms you are describing are more of a display board issue than a control board. The only way to know for sure is to do some testing with a meter. If the door latch was not working properly you will usually get a fault code. The display board for your model is part # 1528210. Cannot guarantee that will fix the problem but would be a likely source.

@repairclinic11 жыл бұрын
The water valve has a smaller hole that might be clogging up. The hoses in the machine usually are not the problem. I would first try replacing the water valve. Take the cold water hose off the washer and put it in a bucket and open the valve just to make sure you are getting good water flow to the valve first. If you are not getting good water flow out of the hose you need to remove the hose off the shut off valve and check for another screen. Other than that replacing the valve should solve the problem.

We just noticed we have several dents on the top of our washer and dryer. They almost look like they got hail damage! When we remove the top of the washer and dryer can we just push against the dents from the inside to get them to pop back in place? We tried the hair dryer and icepack trick and it didnt seem to work. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Darin Breit Remove the top and set it finished side down on a blanket on the floor. You may be able to step on it an flatten out the dents.
