Interesting, that looks like it may be the Heathkit version, which allowed you to build the boards yourself. I'm basing this on the HEATH sticker. This was sold in their catalog as a kit to build at home. COOL!

I have never seen the inside of a home edition . The boards and wiring seem pretty simple . I wonder how many of these are still kicking around after all these years ?

Me too. I am a little nervous about plugging in the MPU. Maybe it will fire up, but I'm guessing not. Of course that is part of the fun!

Surely some compromises were made to meet a price point, but it's also cool there are some still around. I'm hoping the MPU isn't too problematic.
