One thing with Chris, when he does a repair, its not a bodge, its not a quick fix, its a quality professional repair to factory standard, and all of us would agree on that! 👌.

God I hope the retiring rumours aren’t true this is the most professional rebuild channel out there and I watch them all. I do it myself and have done for about 6 years now but I ALWAYS learn things from this channel that I’d never be able to learn otherwise. Top, honest, hardworking and humble guys very deserving of their success and a big inspiration for the next generation, thank you both.

This one is coming together very nicely and you wouldn't know that it had been repaired even though it was a tricky repair to do. Well done to Chris he did a bit at a time in between other projects but cracked on and got it done. A good clean up next and some final bits to add and it can go out of the yard which as you say will free up a large space. Thanks Rob and Chris for posting this video, all good stuff. 👍👍

Hi Rob, steering light issue. It’s a steering angle sensor fault. It can happen when pushing it around the yard without power steering. To reset it. When vehicle is running turn steering wheel lock to lock a few times. Then ignition off and back on. It should clear. Common VW thing. Cheers Ian
