Are you going to weld the fronts of the pans to the brace ? That would take care of that floppiness.

Probably would have been a good idea right at the time. But oh well, I'm just gonna call 'er good for now!

I wonder instead of welding in the pans you could use a panel bonding agent like they use in new cars to attach sheet metal panels.

I don't know anything about that method. Also, for the future, I'd like to install a roll cage of some sort if the car gets fast enough. I figure the better the car is put together, the stronger it will be.
