Great video and instruction. I had a cracked pane that I was dragging my feet on fixing until I found a replacement sash, new in the box, in the attic from the original installation that the original owner had stashed.. CRAZY that of all the windows to have developed a crack, this was the one. I know everyone out there would agree...that never happens. Took me about an hour to replace.

Is there any video before 1966? I think mine are from 1964. Also, the glass has a I-75 imprint...it could be 1, lower case "L for left or one" although left and right have "l" 75.

replaced 21 sashes so far, of various Andersen casements installed around 1989, some showed signs of leaking, others none, but I might as well change em, new is better, new gaskets, better color in SUN glass more heat blocking than old low e Sun, , and shipping is easier buying a bunch at once windowparts.com 21 sashes of various sizes not one problem, not one broken in shipping or installation, I am an Andersen Casement expert now, both operating and stationary only 10 left from 30 years ago, no signs of issues will let them go for a few more years ...New Low e 4 SUN is much better than the old low e sun, even my PS8 Permashield door all SUN, really blocks the sun heat, science in action. CW4 C16 CR35 all kinds of sizes, flawless

My windows is dragging downward so it doesnt allow smooth closing. is there anyway i can adjust the operating sash so it lifts the window up on this brand?

new sashes made in 2018, have a new type spacer, and sounds like desiccant inside the edges for moisture control? slightly newer design gaskets, on the new PS8 slider they improved a lot of stuff, there is now a spacer at bottom of side jamb so it doesn't wick water up into jambs, which rotted mine after 30 years, and the side operating jamb is one piece molded where screen latches, no more joints to leak into jamb wood, screen slides better also with rollers up top not just spring metal ..lock latch handle is much nicer also. Should get another 30 years, and then I will also be 90 and won't give a crap

All 31 of mine are now replaced with updated new low e 4 SUN. replaced the ones from 1988 or so, low e, has improved to low e 3 went all SUN, instead of just certain sides of house, must better than the old SUN low e with bronze ting, the blue grey tinge is better, and it blocks more heat now over old low eSUN
