Replace sliding door rollers when door won’t come out

They make changing the wheels look easy on most videos! This one is for times when your sliding door can’t be removed at all! Only works with doors that come apart the way this one does.

These look like my doors. Been unsure just what to do to replace these. Looks like you've gave me a good idea. Look a little tricky but I might just have to go for it. Really appreciate your video. Thank You.

​@@johnmorgan1998 Still haven't got round to it lol. Mine are actually Mirror Wardrobe doors but look like the same set up. I guess I need to find out where to buy them in the UK and figure out which ines they are I could take one off which would be an option but we have no real walk in stores that would likely stock these, or these I doubt and we on't have good old fashioned knowledgable people behind the tills. Still procastination dosen't get the job done. So I best get sorted. Thanks for checking in on me .

Use your pry bar to lift the door a little to take the pressure off the wheel assembly and it will slide out a lot easier

Be very careful when popping off the side panel, you can easily break the glass, especially if the rubber gasket is stuck with the panel.

Thank you for this great video. I had no way to remove the door because there wasn't enough head space. I was able to follow all your steps with success and now I just need to find the correct replacement wheels.

There is a Sliding Door Repair Cap that you can buy at the home center to repair the track.

They sell a stainless cap to go over your damaged track. I just found out, nice video.

Take the door down, then remove the screws from both sides, then use a 2x4 as a wedge to knock the lower frame off, replace both wheel assembly at one time, replace the lower frame, replace screws, put door back in adjust hight. Replace track if necessary.

My doors are really old. It has two screws, a big one and a smaller one. Do you remove both screws?

You can't get this type of door out. The track at the bottom is too high. I have been trying to do it several times, but couldn't get it over the track because there was not enough space at the top. The professional guy whom I called did exactly the same like in the video.
