Not how it works. Do NOT replace your smoke alarms because they chirp. Replace the BATTERY to stop it from chirping. Just wasted money lol

Hey Hangry…, The life of all smoke detectors are limited. The recommended life limit is 10 yrs. At that point new ones are recommended. Thx for watching!

I collect vintage alarms and the reason you replace smoke alarms is because the the radioactive material can get extremely sensitive and could cause falls alarms so it's just safer to replace them

Check the orientation of the plug - maybe it needs to be flipped 180 degrees??
