I have the same leak on my focus st from the emergency brake spring. It was frustrating trying to find where it was leaking since I didn't think it would leak from there.

Thanks for the video! I’m having the exact same problem atm…

You're welcome. Replacement of the caliper was relatively cheap and quick.

Hi Bruce! Great job! I was wondering what is the dimension of the 2 plywood sides of the bed support.( I’m thinking 11”). Thanks!

Nice job with the guess. The top of the platform is 11" off the floor at the front edge. I made the platform level to the ground, not the van floor. That means the platform is lower in the back relative to the van floor since the van floor tilts gently higher toward the rear. Hope that makes sense.

Thanks! I was also thinking of making the bed sections 29”, 3”, 25” and the foot board 15” total is 72. I want the foot board to retract under the seat part of the ‘couch’ like yours does. Do you think I’ll be able to but the middle section of car seating back in and leave the platform behind them?

It'll be tight. With my 19" footboard stowed away, I'm able to put my 2nd row seats back in and have okay legroom for a shortish person.

Hi Bruce. My name is Mike Rogers. Do you have any plans, and/or layout for your Toyota Sienna build?
@BruceParks Жыл бұрын
Hi Mike, it was a build-as-you-go project. No plans. Sorry!

How you doing? Any new van projects?
@BruceParks Жыл бұрын
Hi Carolyn, it's been a quiet year for van projects though last week I added a dedicated shelf and power supply for my CPAP machine. Better sleep through technology! I have a list of changes and upgrades I've been thinking about doing but life has been keeping me busy otherwise. We have planned a 5 week road trip out to Tucson and back, starting in a couple of weeks. I might shoot some video from the road. Thanks for checking in!

@@BruceParks I'm familiar with CPAP machines; I think most are 12 volts, and can be plugged directly into 12V systems (though you may have to purchase the 12V cord separately). Sounds like an exciting trip. I'll be watching for a video.

Hi, so thoughtful of you to ask! I am doing well. Last year was so busy that we had to cancel what was going to be a five week cross country and back roadtrip and just fly out to attend a wedding in AZ. We're now in the process of moving to a new house and things are still busy but we are stoked for a fun new chapter. I fully intend to produce some new content in 2024, once things get settled a bit. Thanks for checking in, I really appreciate your comment!
