I did one of these today. The mounting bracket that holds the front of the heating box can be removed by taking out two screws. Then the box will easily come out through the front. The wires are long enough to allow this and then you can unplug the wires with the box outside of the dryer. Its easier than trying to unplug and reconnect the wires with the box still inside the machine.

I am waiting for parts for my dryer now. Thanks for your tip. I also got a question. So if I remove the whole box like you suggest, do I still need to remove back panel and that tube from behind? Or I can do all from the front? This is very important, because I live in apartment with REALLY small laundry room and if I still need to remove back panel I will have to take the whole dryer of of the laundry room, which is going to be very complicated. Thank you.

I have never had to replace my thermostat on my dryer so I wouldn't be a good source for a suggestion. I would suggest searching KZbin for someone that has replaced a thermostat and suggests possible causes and solutions to prevent it from failing. Sorry I can't help directly.

@@jonp6347 I just went out to Amazon and see I purchased this part in January 2019. This particular company that sold me this part is no longer selling it, and I don't see a brand name for the part I purchased. However, I did a search on Amazon using the model number for my dryer followed with the words "Heating Element" and found several matching parts ranging in price from 29 to 40 bucks. I believe when I bought my part in 2019 I chose the part with the best reviews and the most reasonable price. I hope this helps. John

Hold everything! Look at 8:05 and see the tab on the top of the circular connector at the back of the heater element box? Mine was screwed in with a sheet metal screw through that tab for retention. How the heck are you supposed to get to that??

I'm not sure I entirely understand your question. If you are having trouble getting the the entire heating structure out of the dryer because you can't get to a screw to release it, then you might try taking the front panel and drum out. I have done that but don't have a video yet on how to do that, there are many videos on KZbin that can show you how to get the drum out. Once the drum is out, then you have much better access to the heating element box or structure. If your question is about disassembling the heating box or structure after it is removed from the dryer, I'm not certain what the issue is. But there may be other videos on KZbin that have encountered a similar problem to help you solve yours. I hope this helps.

I’m pretty sure you have to remove the top first. You can verify by watching similar videos on how to replace a heating element.

It's better easier to go in from the front.. especially when you want to check the belt tension pulley and blow and sweep it out throughly 🤔

Agree. Since making this repair I have replaced the drum, the tension pulley, a drum wheel and another heating element all from the front. It requires more parts to be removed, but much easier to work with the entire internal parts of the unit.

I found my heating element on Amazon. I searched on Amazon using the model number for my dryer and the words “heating element”. I don’t think it was a genuine Samsung parts but you can find web sites that claim they sell genuine Samsung parts for much more money. I hope this helps.

I did a search on amazon with my model number and found at least 3 results. The search text I used was "dv350aew/xaa heating element". Make sure you use your model number for the correct heating element part. I can't personally vouch for or recommend any of the products sold on Amazon. Good luck.

On my dryer there are two screws in the back at the top on each side. Remove the screws and lift up the back part of the top and slide it away from the front. Comes off very easy.
